Donald wondered if it was like this for Jesus. It had always seemed to him that Jesus was a great speaker, that that was his gift, but could it be that Jesus simply felt the presence of God all the time, and that he simply lived his life accordingly? The words were not particularly eloquent, it's just that they came from someone who was seeing God for the rest of us. Maybe he wasn't even an evangelist, maybe he was just living his life and the crowds came to him.
If Donald were Jesus, wouldn't he know it? Maybe it wasn't important enough to know.
